The ...Able suite of competitions and programs is one of Queensland Writers Centre’s most important offerings. In 2025, I was tasked with designing the logo for its newest addition: Pitchable.

The brief was simple—create something that commands attention.

At its core, Pitchable is about testing the marketability of an idea, whether it’s a spark of inspiration or the next step for someone already established in their field. The logo needed to reflect this broad target audience while fitting seamlessly within the existing ...Able branding.

The phrase greenlighting an idea stuck with me — and it ultimately shaped the direction of the final design.
